synopsis

Aris, a 38 years old worker in a factory is fired without any warning.

He is socked. As his attempts to be re-hired fail, he gradually

becomes obsessed with the idea to take justice in his own hands.

He buys a gun with the last of his money. He is ready to proceed with

his goal when his ex-wife dumps their six years son to him.

biography

Born in Athens, he studied cinema and architecture. His debut film Addio Berlin gained Jury’s Prize and Critics Mention at Thessaloniki IFF for it’s innovating style, while his second feature No Sympathy for the Devil was nominated for Golden Alexander and gained the Best Actress Award in TIFF. 2000+1 Shots was selected by the australian filmcritic B. Mousoulis among the 10 best films for 2001 for Senses of Cinema. His previous film Three Days Happiness had 4 major nominations at Greek Film Academy Awards, won Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography at Maverick Movie Awards NY, Best Actress at London GFF, showing at more than 20 festivals.
